    Castro to Arsenal?

Arsenal are reportedly weighing up an approach for Bologna forward Santiago Castro ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Gunners are likely to focus on the attacking and midfield department this summer, and they are already shortlisting their targets.

Castro has emerged as a potential option for the club. The Argentine is primarily a striker and has 13 goal contributions this campaign.

His statistics are not overly impressive but the Gunners have been impressed by the progress and believe in the potential of the 21-year-old.

Bologna are not an easy outfit to negotiate with and reports claim that they are set to hold out for at least £35 million to sanction his departure.

Arsenal already have a good relationship with the Serie A outfit, having previously signed Riccardo Calafiori in a deal worth £42m in 2024.

Castro has also been linked with several Serie A clubs, but they are unlikely to compete financially with the Gunners for the talented marksman.
