Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is reportedly preparing a farewell video ahead of his potential return to Turkish football.
The Turkey international has played second fiddle in goal for the Red Devils over the past three years and he is now eyeing regular action.
Bayindir was on Besiktas’ radar at the start of the year, but United were reluctant to part ways with him, with no replacement in place.
However, they are willing to grant the player’s wish in the summer and Besiktas have already agreed personal terms with the shot-stopper.
United purchased Bayindir for around £5m from Fenerbahce a few years ago, and reports claim that Besiktas could sign him for half the price.
The Red Devils are prepared to sanction the player’s sale in advance to give them sufficient time to pursue a replacement before pre-season.
Meanwhile, United are exploring a new deal for third-choice goalkeeper Tom Heaton. He could play backup to Senne Lammens if they won’t land a new signing before pre-season.
