Popular makeup artiste, Hakeem Onilogbo (Hakeem Effect) bagged the win for the best makeup while Lisabi (A Legend is Born) by Lateef Adedimeji won the award for Best Indigenous Language Film (West Africa) and Leave To Live – Emmanuel Kanaga & Sophia Chisom clinched the award for best digital content creator amongst others

Prior to the award night, a cultural night was held. At the cultural night, top stars showed up in flamboyant outfits to celebrate the Nigerian culture. Organised annually, AMVCA celebrates excellence in African film, television and digital content, while recognising actors, filmmakers, producers and other creative professionals who have contributed significantly to the growth of the entertainment industry across the continent. The glamorous ceremony brought together top stars from different parts of Africa, with fashion, music and outstanding cinematic achievements taking centre stage.
