Chelsea are keeping a close watch on the progress of Como centre-back Jacobo Ramon, according to TeamTalk.
The Blues have played with a back three regularly under manager Xabi Alonso, and they could invest in another centre-back next year.
Ramon has made big strides since his switch to Como from Real Madrid, but the latter still have a buy-back clause they can trigger next summer.
However, the youngster has no desire to return to Los Blancos in future, and it is claimed that Como could seek to buy out the clause soon.
