    Santos injured vs Wolves

Chelsea have suffered a midfield injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against Leeds United at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

The west London giants have picked up form in the league. They have won four matches on the bounce under the guidance of Liam Rosenior.

Andrey Santos started the recent 3-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on the road, but he unfortunately picked up a knock in the second half.

Rosenior did not provide any kind of update in his post-match presser, but the Brazilian is expected to be assessed ahead of the Leeds encounter.

The Blues have a short turnaround time with the match on Tuesday evening. Santos faces a race against time to be fit for the midweek clash.

Chelsea will be aiming to avenge their 3-1 loss to Leeds on the road.

A victory over the Whites at the Bridge would see the Blues move seven points clear of sixth-placed Liverpool temporarily. Fifth place could be sufficient to qualify for the Champions League next season.
