    Odegaard out with fresh injury?

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard could be out of action with a fresh injury sustained against Brentford in the Premier League.

The Norway international returned from a muscle injury against the Bees in midweek. He came on as a second half substitute.

Odegaard managed to play through the entire half, but he was struggling for part of it after a heavy knock to his knee before Brentford’s goal.

The Gunners skipper was spotted limping out of the Gtech Community Stadium and he is now doubtful to face Wigan Athletic tomorrow.

The Gunners host the Latics in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday. Ahead of the game, Odegaard has not been spotted in the training pictures.

This is bound to raise concerns regarding his fitness, particularly with the club back in league action against Wolverhampton Wanderers in midweek.

Arsenal are four points ahead of second-placed Manchester City at the moment, and have the chance to go seven clear with a victory.
