Kaduna State government has intensified efforts to strengthen primary healthcare delivery by domesticating the Open Government Partnership (OGP) framework across its 23 local government areas. The National Orientation Agency has urged Nigerians to embrace voluntary blood donation to save more lives. Director of the agency in Jigawa, Mr Ahmad Tijjani, said this on Sunday in a message to mark the 2026 World Blood Donor Day. The day is celebrated on June 14 to recognise and appreciate the contributions of voluntary blood donors. Ijaw and Urhobo leaders in Delta State have reluctantly accepted a presidential intervention regarding the contested Warri electoral boundaries.
