Elections are widely regarded as the lifeblood of any democratic system. In advanced democracies, robust institutional safeguards are designed to protect electoral processes from undue interference or manipulation. Allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 United States presidential election, for instance, became a defining political issue which underscores how seriously electoral credibility is treated. This reinforces a simple truth: electoral integrity is foundational to democratic legitimacy. In Nigeria, however, the persistent erosion of that integrity has produced one of the most pressing challenges to our democracy: voter apathy. The Republic reported that Nigeria has the 9th lowest voter count in…
“Data is life,” a phrase many Nigerians know all too well. But let’s take it a step further. If data is life, then what powers that life? The answer is simple: the TECNO CAMON 50 Series. This isn’t just another smartphone. It’s a “one device, many hustles” companion built for creators, entrepreneurs, and anyone who refuses to slow down. Built for Photos, Videos, and Content That Stands Out There’s a common belief that only a few select devices can deliver truly great photos and videos. The CAMON 50 Series challenges that narrative completely. Designed with creators in mind, the camera…

He said the new system—formally known as the Nigerian Statistical Information System for Products, Raw Materials and Products—represents a significant upgrade from earlier versions of the council’s raw materials information framework. “We are…
Chelsea crashed to a dismal 3-0 defeat against Brighton on Tuesday, leaving their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League in tatters as pressure mounts on beleaguered boss Liam Rosenior. Rosenior’s side produced one of their worst performances of a miserable season as Ferdi Kadioglu put Brighton ahead in the first half before Jack Hinshelwood and Danny Welbeck netted after the interval. It is the first time that Chelsea have lost five consecutive league games without scoring since 1912, fittingly the year that the Titanic sank. Beaten seven times in their last eight games in all competitions, the Blues have…
