    Baleba to Man Utd on?

Manchester United have held fresh discussions with the agent of Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are poised to strengthen their midfield department ahead of next season. Casemiro will leave on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of June.

Manuel Ugarte is also frustrated with his lack of playing time during the ongoing campaign and the Uruguayan could push for a new challenge in the next transfer window.

Amidst this, United have revived their pursuit of Baleba, who was their top target last summer. The Red Devils could not afford him due to the hefty £115 million price.

Baleba has since endured a tough campaign where he has been pretty poor with his performances. Despite this, United have continued to monitor him and could return for his services.

Contact has been established with the player’s representatives and it remains to be seen whether a formal approach is made to the Seagulls when the season comes to a conclusion.
