The Golden State Warriors continued their impressive run of form with a convincing 120-100 victory over the Miami Heat, extending their winning streak to six games.
Stephen Curry was once again at the heart of the Warriors’ success, delivering an outstanding scoring performance to help his team secure another important win.
Curry finished with 29 points, four assists and six three-pointers, giving Golden State the offensive spark they needed to pull away from Miami. His shooting ability and leadership once again proved crucial as the Warriors maintained their momentum.
The game was closely contested in the first half, with both teams struggling to create a comfortable advantage. Miami even took an early 10-point lead, but Golden State stayed within reach and went into halftime level at 53-53.
The turning point came in the third quarter. After Miami briefly moved ahead 61-58, Curry caught fire, scoring 14 points in the period and helping spark a decisive Warriors run. Golden State outscored the Heat 38-23 in the quarter, opening up a lead that Miami struggled to overcome.
Curry scored 22 of his 29 points in the second half, showing why he remains one of the most dangerous shooters in the NBA. He finished with six three-pointers and was able to sit late in the game after the Warriors had established a comfortable advantage.
Yaxel Lendeborg also played an important role, contributing 17 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals. Draymond Green controlled the offence with a season-high 11 assists, while Georges Niang added 13 points off the bench.
For Miami, Davion Mitchell led the scoring with 22 points and eight assists, while Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded 20 points and 14 rebounds. Bam Adebayo also finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds, but their efforts were not enough to prevent the defeat.
The loss was another setback for Miami, who could not recover after Golden State took control in the third quarter.
The Warriors, meanwhile, have now won six consecutive games after opening the season with three straight defeats. Their latest victory is another sign of the momentum building in Golden State as they continue to find their rhythm.
Curry and his teammates will now look to carry that winning form into their next game against the Orlando Magic.
