    Scott to Chelsea?

Chelsea have made first contact with the representatives of Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, according to Teamtalk.

The west London giants are planning to reinforce their midfield, and there is a possibility that they could offload at least one key player.

Romeo Lavia has spent the last few years on the sidelines with multiple injuries, and he could be shown the exit door this summer.

Amidst this, it is claimed that Scott has emerged as a top target for the Blues. They are prepared to make a formal bid for his services.

The Cherries have been a selling club over the years. They are likely to entertain bids of around 50 million pounds for the Englishman.

Scott has also been linked with Manchester United in the last few weeks, but he is not particularly higher up in their pecking order for now.

Ederson, Elliot Anderson and Carlos Baleba are among the top names. United may see him as an alternative outside of the above trio.
