The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, and the son of President Bola Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu, have arrived at the venue of the Ojude Oba festival in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
PUNCH Online reports that the festival is witnessing a colourful display of traditional attire and cultural pageantry, with different groups making their entrance in flowing agbadas, geles, and intricately beaded accessories.
The festival, held on the third day after Eid-el-Kabir, draws thousands of guests annually, including politicians, celebrities, and members of the Nigerian diaspora, all converging to celebrate Ijebu culture and identity.
This yearโs edition, however, holds without Oba Sikiru Adetona, who died in July last year after a 65-year reign as the Awujale of Ijebuland.
