Smartphone manufacturer itel Nigeria has featured TikTok gaming content creator Adeeyo Odunayo in its Ultra Gamers livestream, part of the brand’s campaign to engage Nigeria’s expanding mobile gaming audience.
The livestream, hosted on TikTok, showcased Adeeyo, known as Odun Wire, as a guest gamer for the event, which was promoted across itel Nigeria’s official social media platforms ahead of the broadcast. The session forms part of the company’s ongoing efforts to highlight creator-led content and connect with digital audiences across the country.
The creator said in a statement on Wednesday that he has amassed over 1.2 million followers on TikTok through mobile gameplay content and livestreams and is among a growing number of Nigerian creators shaping the online gaming entertainment space. “My inclusion in the itel livestream reflects the increasing role of independent content creators in technology-driven marketing campaigns,” he said.
Odunayo noted that he gained international exposure, having been invited to participate in the PUBG Mobile National Championship in Egypt, further cementing the global visibility of Nigerian gaming talent.
“Mobile gaming continues to grow in Nigeria, driven by rising smartphone adoption and the popularity of content from digital creators. The partnerships between technology brands and social media influencers underscore the evolving influence of gaming personalities in Africa’s entertainment and tech sectors,” the statement added.
