Arsenal goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga can leave for just £5m during the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic.

The Spaniard signed for the Gunners from Chelsea last summer after the club triggered the £5m release clause in his Blues contract.

Arrizabalaga played largely in the Cup competitions for the Gunners, with just one appearance apiece in the Premier League and Champions League, where he has been behind David Raya in the pecking order.

It is now revealed that the 31-year-old has an identical £5m release clause in his Gunners deal, and could leave for a first-choice role elsewhere.

Inter Milan are known to be interested in the Athletic Bilbao graduate, with reports claiming that they want a proper successor to Yann Sommer.

The Nerazzurri could make their interest known very soon. Arrizabalaga is also on the radar of one of the recently promoted Premier League clubs.

Arrizabalaga could assess his options before a final decision over his future. He has not ruled out staying as the Gunners’ backup keeper.
