View Arsenal summer 2026 transfer targets
Arsenal have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos this summer.
The Brazilian had his breakout campaign with the Blues last term, making 43 appearances in all competitions.
However, he averaged only 43 minutes per game and now has his sights set on regular playing time elsewhere.
Chelsea have opened the door to selling him for around 50 million pounds and there could be plenty of offers.
United made contact with his entourage earlier this summer, and reports claim that Arsenal are also in the mix for him.
Santos was closely monitored during his loan spell at Strasbourg, and Arsenal thought about an approach last summer.
Chelsea were not keen on parting ways with the 22-year-old at that point, but have now opened the door to sanction his sale.
Aside from the Premier League, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan are also keeping tabs on the ex-Vasco de Gama youngster.
Santos will want the guarantee of regular minutes at his next club.
