    Arsenal want Enzo Fernandez

Arsenal are reportedly one of the contenders to sign Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez during the upcoming transfer window.

The Gunners are expected to pursue a marquee midfielder in the off-season and they have been heavily linked with Newcastle United’s Sandro Tonali.

However, there is no guarantee that the Magpies will sanction his departure, having just agreed to sell Anthony Gordon to Barcelona for £70 million.

Hence, Arsenal may have to explore an alternative central midfielder and reports claim that Fernandez has emerged as a surprise target for them.

Fernandez is looking for a way out of the Blues after the west London giants failed to qualify for the Champions League after a poor campaign.

Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on the former Benfica man, but the prospect of continuing in London with Arsenal could be tempting for him.

Caught Offside claim that it would take at least £100m to persuade the Blues to part ways with the World Cup winner in the coming weeks.
