    Norgaard to leave Arsenal?

Arsenal midfielder Christian Norgaard is open to leaving the club after a solitary campaign.

The Dane joined the Gunners from Brentford last summer, and he struggled for regular playing time throughout the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Norgaard managed just over 100 minutes in the league, where Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi, Mikel Merino and Myles Lewis-Skelly were preferred over him in the pecking order by manager Mikel Arteta.

The experienced midfielder is now open to pursuing a new challenge away from the Gunners, and would be interested in rejoining Brondby.

Arsenal signed him for around £10m upfront, and it is highly unlikely that the Danish outfit will be able to afford such a figure this summer.

Norgaard could still leave the Gunners for another top European outfit. Meanwhile, Arsenal are planning to bring in another marquee midfielder.

Newcastle United’s Sandro Tonali is reportedly one of the top targets for the Gunners. Arsenal are yet to make a formal approach to the Magpies.
