    11 killed, houses burnt in Nasarawa attack

    At least 11 persons have been killed and more than 50 houses destroyed in Udege Development Area of Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. The attack, which occurred in the early hours of Friday, was reportedly carried out by hoodlums suspected to be on a reprisal mission over the alleged killing of two of their kinsmen. Police authorities said the violence affected Akyawa and Udege Kasa communities, where 11 people were confirmed dead, about 50 houses burnt in Akyawa and two houses destroyed in Udege Kasa.     Kano local government council suspends chairman, deputy
