    Are Tinubu’s Men Coddling Terrorists

    By Prima NewsApril 24, 2026

Mother tongue is sweet. I know because mine is. The honey in the mother tongue oozes from its picturesque encapsulation of nature’s simplest wonders to life’s most complex pursuits, passing down wisdom from generation to generation, like no other tongue. The sweetness of mother tongue is the reason why teaching, learning and research jump to life inside vernacular classrooms. However, when Nigerian ethnicities such as Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, etc., impose English on their mother tongue, and speak with nose-in-the-air authority, the letter ‘m’ becomes ‘emu’, ‘country’ becomes ‘kwantiri’, and ‘chair’ becomes ‘sia’, echoing regional linguistic peculiarities. Every tongue has its…

‘Apex’ Review: Charlize Theron Netflix Thriller Avoids Rock Bottom, but Barely

    By Prima NewsApril 24, 2026

Apex, a new survival thriller from director Baltasar Kormákur, debuts on Netflix Friday. The film stars Charlize Theron as Sasha, a grief-stricken woman who, after a rather predictable accident on a mountain, travels to Australia to find closure. Once there, she finds herself involved in a grueling cat-and-mouse game as she’s hunted by a ruthless local named Ben (played by Taron Egerton).  There’s a lot the movie could’ve explored during its roughly 90-minute running time, particularly around loss and letting go. Alas, it’s all surface, no depth. It’s a bummer — but at least that surface looks cool.Let’s back up…

Known in social circles as “Locomotive,” he has become a familiar face in nightlife spaces, often misunderstood as just another high-spending personality. But behind that perception lies a far more strategic and forward-looking force.   Locomotive…

    By Prima NewsApril 24, 2026

Brazilian winger Estevao is out for the rest of the English season, with his participation in the World Cup in doubt, Chelsea interim boss Calum McFarlane said on Friday.
