The Cross River House of Assembly has approved an upward review of the 2026 supplementary appropriation bill of the state to N963 billion. The revised figure represents an increase of N1.45 billion from the earlier N961 billion provision, which translates to a 0.15 per cent rise. The Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) has led a group of strategic investors in the recently completed $2.5 billion private placement by Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE (DPRP).
