Nigeria’s Midstream and Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund has deployed N671 billion in public capital to mobilise about N1.6 trillion in private investment across 31 gas projects. The investments span 205 gas infrastructure assets across Nigeria and are expected to increase domestic gas supply as projects move into operation. The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) said on Friday that  Electricity Distribution Companies (DisCos) collected  ₦205.53 billion out of N250.79 billion billed customers. The commission disclosed this in its latest Commercial Performance Factsheet released on its X handle in Abuja. The report showed that DisCos received N333.94 billion worth of energy during the month of July. It said that out of the N333.94 energy received, N250.79 billion was billed customers out of which N205, 53 billion was collected.
