The Development Research and Projects Centre (dRPC), a non-profit organisation, has initiated a programme to fight gender-based violence (GBV) in Kano and Jigawa states. The initiative, Grannies Network for Change (G-NEC), was launched in Kano on Monday with the aim to mobilise grandmothers for addressing the growing menace in the North-west region.
