BUA Cement Plc has approved its unaudited financial statements for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, ahead of their submission to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).

The company disclosed that its Board of Directors approved the financial statements at a meeting held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

According to a regulatory filing signed by Company Secretary and Chief Legal Officer Hauwa Satomi, the results will be submitted to the NGX through its Issuers’ Portal on or before October 30, 2026.

The company also confirmed that its closed period will remain in effect until 24 hours after the financial statements have been filed.

During the closed period, directors and other designated insiders are restricted from trading in the company’s securities in accordance with applicable market regulations.

The approval represents a procedural step towards the publication of BUA Cement’s latest financial performance, which will provide investors with updated information on its revenue, profitability and financial position.

The disclosure did not contain the company’s third-quarter financial figures or indicate whether earnings increased or declined during the reporting period.

Investors will therefore have to await the formal publication of the results to assess the company’s performance for the nine months ended September 30, 2026.

BUA Cement is one of Nigeria’s major cement manufacturers and is listed on the Nigerian Exchange.

Its forthcoming results will provide further insight into operating conditions in Nigeria’s cement industry, including the effects of production costs, energy expenses and demand from construction activities.

The financial statements are expected to give shareholders a clearer picture of the company’s earnings performance and financial position during the period under review.
