Iran has asserted that the United States’ stipulation regarding restrictions on uranium enrichment will never be realized.

The head of Iran’s atomic energy organization, Mohammed Eslami, stated that the demand from the US and Israel will not materialize.

According to a report by The Guardian UK, Eslami remarked that the US will “not succeed in limiting Iran’s enrichment program”.

He further stated, “The assertions and requests from our adversaries to limit Iran’s enrichment program are simply aspirations that will be disregarded,” as quoted by Iran’s ISNA news agency.

Iran’s uranium enrichment capabilities continue to be a significant point of dispute in the discussions between Tehran and Washington, with Donald Trump insisting on a complete cessation and the removal of buried nuclear “dust” – a reference to Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium – in return for sanctions relief.

The United States President has indicated that Iran must cease uranium enrichment as a condition for achieving enduring peace in the Middle East.

As reported by DAILY POST, Tehran has previously shown reluctance to negotiate on this condition.

Trump also mentioned that the United States will aid in revealing enriched uranium that was concealed following strikes last summer.

He noted that many of the conditions specified in his 15-point ceasefire proposal, which he introduced a few weeks ago, have been accepted by Iran.
