Disasi to leave Chelsea for good

Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement with defender Axel Disasi over a permanent transfer this summer.

Disasi has spent time on loan with the likes of Aston Villa and West Ham United recently. He was hugely impressive for the latter last season despite their relegation from the Premier League.

The Hammers are unlikely to pursue a permanent deal for him, but there is said to be plenty of Premier League interest. A number of Serie A clubs are likewise keen on landing the ex-Monaco man.

Disasi has three more years remaining on his Blues contract, but Chelsea have reached a verbal agreement with the Frenchman that he will be allowed to leave for good in the next transfer window.

Alongside Disasi, Benoit Badiashile is also expected to head for the exit door, but the Blues seem prepared to keep Tosin Adarabioyo due to his dressing room conduct and leadership qualities.

Adarabioyo is expected to speak with incoming manager Xabi Alonso to find out his role. The Blues are eager to keep him next season.
