Chelsea have been handed the opportunity to sign former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma on a free transfer, according to Football Insider.
The Blues explored a deal for Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara on deadline day last week. A verbal agreement was reached with the Ligue 1 outfit, but the club pulled the plug on the deal at the last hurdle.
This left Chelsea deeply frustrated, and reports claim that the west London giants may not do business with the French side hereafter.
Meanwhile, the Blues have been offered several free agents to fill the void left in midfield by Enzo Fernandez‘s move to Manchester City.
The club have already said no to Renato Sanches, and reports claim that Bissouma is another player who has been offered to them.
Bissouma, who was recently with Spurs, has received several Saudi offers, but he has his sights on staying in the Premier League this term.
The Malian is waiting for a suitable contract proposal.
