    Kayode to Chelsea or Arsenal?

Chelsea are ready to battle it out with Arsenal to sign Brentford right-back Michael Kayode during the summer transfer window, as per Ekrem Konur.

The Blues recently committed Reece James to a new long-term contract and they already have Malo Gusto as his immediate deputy.

Despite this, they have been linked with a move for Kayode, who has developed into one of the best right-backs in the Premier League.

Arsenal are also in the hunt for the Italian star and it remains to be seen whether either of those clubs make a formal approach.

Chelsea seem unlikely to do so with two concrete options in the squad.

Arsenal, on the other hand, could pursue his signature, given they could open the door for Ben White‘s exit when the current season ends.

White has played second fiddle to Jurrien Timber for the last 18 months and he could personally push for a new challenge as well.

The former Brighton man could join another Premier League side.
