    Asllani wanted by Chelsea

Chelsea are exploring a move for Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani amid Liam Delap‘s struggles during the ongoing campaign.

Delap chose to join the Blues from Ipswich Town last summer. He was on the radar of Manchester United, but decided to move to west London.

He has since struggled to secure regular playing time and finds himself behind Joao Pedro in the pecking order for a starting position upfront.

Amidst this, the Blues are assessing his performances and could be prepared to replace him with a new signing in the next transfer window.

Asllani has emerged as a potential option for the Blues. The 23-year-old has made 15 goal contributions for Hoffenheim in the current season.

Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are likewise keeping tabs on the marksman, but he may not come on the cheap this summer.

Hoffenheim are currently third in the Bundesliga. If they were to qualify for the Champions League, they could easily demand €50m for Asllani.
