“Constant Spiritual Warfare” in Music Industry

American rapper, Nicki Minaj, has alleged that she faced what she described as “constant spiritual warfare” throughout her career in the music industry, claiming that powerful figures worked against her after she refused to conform to certain expectations.

The rapper made the claim during an appearance on The Bryce Crawford Podcast, hosted by evangelist Bryce Crawford, which began trending on Tuesday.

Speaking on the programme, Minaj said she entered the entertainment industry without understanding what she described as its spiritual dimension, a reality she believes contributed to many of the challenges she encountered.

“It was constant spiritual warfare. I wish I kind of knew sooner that this music industry was such a spiritual experience because I felt like I brought a knife to a gunfight without having that information,” she said.

Minaj alleged that some influential figures in the industry viewed artistes primarily as sources of profit and could make life difficult for those who refused to comply with their demands.

According to her, the opposition she faced stemmed largely from a personal conflict with an influential individual.

“My situation, I feel like it’s very personal. I feel that there definitely is a group of people who have made things very difficult for me, but I don’t know if they’re Illuminati.

“I don’t know what they are, I always look at it like it was a personal issue that one person didn’t really like me and they happen to be in a powerful position and they were able to use their influence to make people go against me because they couldn’t get certain money with me and they wanted the money not to come to me.”

When asked about the Illuminati, Minaj said she could not confirm whether such a group existed but did not rule out the possibility.

“I never looked at it as if it was like an entire secret society against me but who knows, you know? It could be, but it definitely has been spiritual,” she added.

The rapper maintained that while she viewed her experience as largely personal, she believed there were broader spiritual forces at work within the entertainment industry.

Minaj is one of the best-selling female rappers in history, with several platinum-certified albums and a career spanning almost two decades.
