Arsenal graduate Ethan Nwaneri would prefer to remain in the Premier League this season despite interest from clubs abroad, according to Sky Sports.
The 19-year-old had a good pre-season campaign with the Gunners, but he could be loaned out in the coming days, given the lack of assurances of regular game time.
Nwaneri is presently behind Martin Odegaard and Eberechi Eze in the pecking order for the number 10 role, and may have to move elsewhere for his development.
RB Leipzig, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund are among foreign clubs keen, but Nwaneri wants to avoid moving abroad after his difficult spell with Marseille in Ligue 1.
Hence, Fulham could be a lucrative destination for the youngster. The west London side have a good working relationship with the Gunners, having previously loaned Reiss Nelson.
Everton and Newcastle United have also been credited with an interest in the playmaker, but Nwaneri could prefer to stay put in the English capital.
