Actress, filmmaker and content creator, Etinosa Idemudia’s latest comedy-drama, ‘Oga Bulldozer’, is gaining traction among movie lovers, with viewers praising its humour, engaging storyline and relatable themes.

Currently streaming on Etinosa TV, the film follows the story of Marvis (Deza the Great), a wealthy but irresponsible womaniser whose troubled past has shaped his outlook on life. His life takes an unexpected turn after he hires a disciplined, outspoken and morally upright young woman as his housemaid, who makes it her mission to reform him.

According to a statement sent to Saturday Beats, since its release, the film has generated positive reactions on social media, where viewers have described it as “a new type of funny,” “highly relatable,” and one of the most entertaining family-friendly movies released in recent weeks.

Many have also commended the chemistry between the lead actors, as well as the witty dialogue and blend of comedy, romance and life lessons.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the project, Etinosa said the film was conceived to explore the often-overlooked emotional struggles that shape the behaviour of many men while delivering quality entertainment.

She said, “People often blame men for certain behaviours without understanding where those behaviours come from. Sometimes, the actions we see are rooted in pain, trauma or personal experiences. I wanted to tell a story that people, especially men, can relate to while still making them laugh and enjoy themselves.”

The actress, who plays the role of the determined housemaid, said although she has portrayed similar characters in the past, the new movie allowed her to reveal a different side of her acting range.
