Former Minister of Communication Technology, Dr Omobola Johnson, will deliver the keynote address at the third Daniel Taiwo Odukoya Memorial Lecture today at The Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos.

The renowned technology executive and corporate leader is expected to speak on leadership, innovation, public service and sustainable impact at the annual event meant to honour the legacy of the late founder of The Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya.

The lecture, themed “One Life, Many Harvests: The Multiplier Effect of a People-Centered Life,” will examine how purposeful leadership and service can create lasting influence across generations.

According to the organisers, Johnson will draw on her experience in government, technology and corporate leadership to share insights on nation-building, influence and people-centred leadership in an increasingly dynamic world.

Now in its third edition, the memorial lecture was instituted to celebrate the life, values and enduring contributions of Pastor Odukoya, who was widely recognised for his commitment to leadership development, entrepreneurship, family transformation and community impact.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Chairman of the Planning Committee and daughter of the late cleric, Dr Deborah Enuha, said the gathering was designed to inspire a new generation of leaders while preserving the principles Pastor Odukoya championed throughout his life.

“This lecture is more than a remembrance event. It is a platform for preserving timeless leadership values and inspiring individuals to build lives that create lasting impact. It is a call to influence, serve and leave a legacy that outlives us,” she said.

The event is expected to attract business leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, policymakers and members of the public for discussions on leadership, service and societal impact.

Participation is free and open to the public, with organisers promising thought-provoking conversations and practical lessons on building a legacy of influence and service.
