The Islamic State West Africa Province, ISWAP, has released a video reportedly showing coordinated attacks on Nigerian military camps located in Buratai, Maiduguri, and Shiwari, also known as Mile 4 near Baga.

According to the group, the assaults were executed on the night between March 15 and 16.

It would be recalled that the ISWAP had earlier issued a statement taking responsibility for the attacks, reiterating its claim of inflicting casualties on Nigerian troops.

ISWAP also claimed that five Nigerian soldiers were killed in the attack.

However, the Nigerian Army said only injuries were recorded, with no fatalities confirmed.
