Reality TV star and actor, Saga Adeolu, popularly known as Saga, has spoken about the realities of acting, saying romantic scenes in films are far less glamorous than they appear on screen.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, Saga described Nollywood as one of the most challenging industries he has worked in, even though he finds acting fulfilling.

“It has been a lot. I tell people Nollywood is one of the toughest things I have ever done. It’s also one of the most pleasurable things at the same time. I enjoy acting. It’s tough. People think acting is easy, but I love it,” he said.

Addressing his “lover boy” image, Saga admitted that the label reflects his real-life personality.

“I am a lover boy in real life, so I don’t mind,” he said.

He also clarified earlier remarks made on a podcast about kissing scenes, stressing that such moments are strictly professional and often misunderstood by audiences.

“I didn’t make the statement because of a bad kiss. A lot of times when people see us kiss in movies, they think we are enjoying it. There is no fun in there because we are acting. So it’s not like it’s sweet or sexy or anything. It’s just our work,” he explained.
