The Chairman, management, staff, and stakeholders of the Kogi State Hajj Commission have been congratulated on the successful completion of the 2026 Hajj exercise.

Director of SALRABI FARM, Alhaji Salihu Ademu, in a statement on Tuesday commended the smooth coordination of pilgrims and effective service delivery recorded throughout the exercise.

Ademu said the Commission demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and strong commitment to the welfare of Kogi State pilgrims from the preparatory stage through to the completion of the sacred pilgrimage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He said: “The smooth coordination of pilgrims, effective service delivery, and commitment to the welfare of Kogi pilgrims throughout the sacred pilgrimage are commendable and reflect the dedication, professionalism, and hard work of the Commission.”

He noted that the efforts of the Commission in adequately preparing, guiding, and supporting pilgrims at every stage of the Hajj rites played a key role in the successful participation of Kogi pilgrims.

He added: “I particularly appreciate the efforts made in ensuring that pilgrims were adequately prepared, guided, and supported throughout the various stages of the Hajj rites. Your unwavering commitment contributed significantly to the successful participation of Kogi State pilgrims in this year’s pilgrimage.”

While celebrating the achievement, he urged returning pilgrims to sustain the spiritual values of the Hajj by living lives of piety, patience, humility, discipline, and obedience to Allah.

He advised them to uphold the lessons of the pilgrimage by promoting unity and serving as positive ambassadors of their families, communities, and the state.

“I want to urge returning pilgrims to sustain the spiritual values they have acquired during the Hajj by living lives rooted in piety, patience, humility, discipline, and obedience to Allah.

“The Hajj is not only a physical journey but also a deep spiritual renewal, and it is important that pilgrims carry these virtues back to their daily lives and interaction”, he added.
