Three teams booked their places in the FA Cup semi-finals following Saturday’s quarter-final matches, as Manchester City, Chelsea, and Southampton all progressed with comfortable victories.

Manchester City produced a commanding performance in the day’s opening fixture, thrashing Liverpool 4-0.

Erling Haaland starred with a hat-trick to seal an emphatic victory.

Chelsea then delivered their own ruthless display at Stamford Bridge, hammering League Two side Port Vale 7-0 to secure their spot in the last four with ease.

Arsenal, meanwhile, suffered fresh disappointment, exiting a second competition in three weeks after falling to a 2-1 defeat away to Southampton.

The final quarter-final match is scheduled for Sunday at 4:30 pm, with West Ham United set to face Leeds United for the last remaining semi-final spot.
