Manchester United and Chelsea have been handed a boost in signing Borussia Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi at the end of the campaign, according to Teamtalk.

The German has averaged just 47 minutes per appearance this campaign, but he has still contributed 10 goals and six assists from 39 matches.

His current deal expires in June next year. With no intention to pen a renewal, he could be on his way out of the Bundesliga giants this summer.

United and Chelsea are open to pursuing a versatile winger to add to their ranks and could go head-to-head to land the former Salzburg man.

Dortmund valued him at around 60 million euros last summer, but may have to accept a reduced fee of 40 million euros at the end of the season.

Arsenal have also been linked with the talented ace in the past, but they have their sights on signing a more marquee solution for next season.

Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon is one of their prime targets.
