Manchester United are reportedly preparing a winter approach for Joaquin Seys to bolster their left-back department.

The Red Devils explored the possibility of landing a new left-back last summer, but were unable to find a proper solution.

Newcastle United’s Lewis Hall was one of the top names on their radar, but he was deemed not for sale in the end.

Seys was considered towards the end of the transfer window, but Club Brugge preferred to keep him for another season.

It is now revealed that United are weighing up a fresh move for the Belgian in January despite Brugge’s transfer stance.

The Red Devils have found themselves short in the left-back department this term amid Luke Shaw‘s injury concerns.

Patrick Dorgu has not always been convincing as a deputy, given he is attack-minded. He is currently out with a hamstring issue.

Hence, United look poised to strengthen with a new signing and they could make a formal bid for Seys at the of the year.
