    Tonali wanted by Man Utd

Manchester United have their sights on landing Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali as a replacement for Casemiro at the end of the campaign, as per Tuttosport.

The Red Devils are poised to bolster their holding midfield department with Casemiro expected to depart. The club have confirmed that he will leave when his contract concludes this summer.

Tuttosport now claim that Tonali is one of the top names on their radar and formal negotiations could be initiated with the Magpies for the Italian at the end of the season.

United are likely to face fierce competition from Arsenal for the 25-year-old, who has his sights on playing Champions League football next season.

Newcastle have not set any asking price for the former AC Milan midfielder, but reports claim that he could be prised away for £87 million.

United are also looking at alternative midfield solutions including Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson priced at around £75 million, as per The Mirror.
