Marcus Rashford has officially said goodbye to Barcelona following the end of his season-long loan. He thanked the club, his teammates and supporters for what he described as an unforgettable experience.
The England forward is set to return to Manchester United for pre-season after Barcelona decided not to activate the option to make his stay permanent.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Rashford reflected on his time at Camp Nou.
“I’m very grateful to everyone at Barcelona for making my time here such a positive and memorable experience. I’ve enjoyed every moment and will take many special memories with me.”
He also wished the club success for the future, adding:
“I wish the club and all its supporters the very best of luck and every success in the season ahead. Visca el Barça.”
Rashford enjoyed an impressive campaign in Spain, making 49 appearances, scoring 14 goals, and providing 11 assists. He also played a key role in Barcelona’s 2025/26 La Liga title-winning season, especially scoring in the decisive El Clásico victory.
Barcelona responded warmly to Rashford’s farewell; they thanked him for his contribution and wished him the best as he begins the next chapter of his career.
Although his stay in Catalonia has come to an end, Rashford leaves with a league title and lasting memories.
