MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank, a digital bank licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria, has upgraded its mobile banking application as part of efforts to improve customer experience and simplify airtime and data purchases on its platform.

The bank said the latest update enhances the order flow for airtime and data products, introducing a cleaner and more modern interface designed to make transactions faster and easier for users. The upgraded app now features streamlined account selection, improved denomination options and dynamic input validation aimed at reducing errors during transactions.

For data purchases, the redesigned interface organises plans into clearly defined categories, including hot, daily, weekly, monthly, exclusive and special bundles. Each plan now displays data volume and validity period in a bold, easy-to-read format, enabling customers to quickly identify suitable options without excessive scrolling.

MoneyMaster added that customers can now purchase lower airtime denominations such as N200, N500, N1,000, N2,000 and N4,000, while telecom product categories have been reordered to make selection easier.

Speaking on the upgrade, the company’s Head of Business, Tajudeen Omokhide, said the enhancement reflects the bank’s commitment to delivering faster and more transparent digital payment services.

“Our mission is to transform payments into an agile experience capable of moving with the speed and transparency of a fintech. Our customers expect simple, fast and transparent solutions at an affordable cost. These recent upgrades to the mobile banking app demonstrate our commitment to ensuring customer experience remains top-notch and aligned with their needs,” he said in a statement.

As part of the update, customers will enjoy a 100 per cent bonus on Glo airtime purchases made through the app, while data users will receive a 10 per cent bonus on Glo data recharges. The incentives, according to the bank, are designed to attract new users and reward existing customers.

Omokhide said the new offerings represent an important step towards the bank’s goal of delivering market-relevant and customer-centric products.

MoneyMaster, promoted by Globacom, operates as a payment service bank providing mobile wallets, savings and current accounts for individuals and businesses. The platform also enables customers to purchase airtime and data and pay bills to more than 4,000 billers nationwide.
