MTN Nigeria Communications Plc has announced a final dividend of N15 per 2 kobo ordinary share for the financial year ended December 31, 2025, bringing total dividend for the year to N20 per share, subject to applicable withholding tax.

The corporate action follows the company’s return to profitability in 2025 and signals renewed confidence in cash flow sustainability after a volatile 2024 financial year.

    Key Corporate Action Dates

    • Qualification Date: April 8, 2026

    • Register Closure: From April 9, 2026

    • Annual General Meeting (AGM): April 30, 2026

    • Dividend Payment Date: On or around May 5, 2026

Shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at the close of business on April 8, 2026, will qualify for the dividend.

Dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders who have completed the e-dividend registration process and mandated the Registrar to credit their bank accounts directly.

    AGM and Shareholder Participation

The company’s Annual General Meeting is scheduled for April 30, 2026, where shareholders are expected to consider the dividend approval and other statutory resolutions.

The Register of Shareholders will be closed from April 9, 2026, in preparation for the AGM and dividend qualification.

    E-Dividend and Unclaimed Dividends Advisory

MTN Nigeria advised shareholders who have not completed their e-dividend mandate to do so promptly to ensure seamless electronic payment.

Shareholders with unclaimed dividends are encouraged to contact the Registrar, Coronation Registrars Limited, or complete the necessary documentation to regularise their dividend records.
