    Nigeria Defeat Mali to Finish Ninth at African Women’s Volleyball Championship

    Nigeria’s senior women’s volleyball team secured a 3-0 victory over Mali to finish ninth at the 2026 African Senior Women’s Volleyball Nations Championship in Nairobi, Kenya.

    The Nigerian side produced a strong performance, winning all three sets against Mali.

    Nigeria narrowly won the opening set 25-23 before taking the second set 25-19.

    The team then completed the victory with a convincing 25-14 win in the third set.

    The 3-0 result ensured Nigeria finished the continental championship in ninth position.

    The victory provided a positive end to Nigeria’s campaign at the 2026 African Senior Women’s Volleyball Nations Championship.
