Peter Obi has met Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja amid rising 2027 political talks.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Peter Obi, is currently in a closed-door meeting with former President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja.

The meeting, taking place at Jonathan’s residence, is being attended by several South-East political elders, although details of the discussions remain undisclosed.

The development comes less than a week after President Bola Tinubu hosted Jonathan at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, further fueling speculations about ongoing high-level political consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections.

More details are expected to emerge as the meeting progresses.
