Lagos is set for a colourful Children’s Day celebration as media personality and children-focused event host, Temitope Chikezie, popularly known as Queen Temi-T, prepares to host a new edition of her annual family experience tagged “The Hero Within with Queen Temi-T.”

Scheduled for May 26, 2026, at the UNILAG Senior Staff Club, Lagos, the premium event is organised by Queen Pride Entertainment and Media Limited, in partnership with participating schools, and is expected to attract hundreds of children, parents, and guests for a day of entertainment, learning and inspiration.

The programme will feature music, comedy, spoken word, games, motivational sessions, celebrity appearances and interactive performances designed to celebrate Children’s Day in a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.

This year’s line-up includes performances from Illbliss, Ajebo, Funbi, Omotunde Lolo (Adaku), Elder O, David, Baptista, Grand Tycoon, Temilayo Abodunrin and Demilade The Bold One, alongside other entertainers and guest appearances.

Queen Temi-T, also known in media circles as “The Jolijoli Queen,” has built a reputation for producing family-oriented entertainment experiences that blend fun with positive messaging for children. Previous editions of her Children’s Day events have featured appearances by stars such as Funke Akindele, African China, Mike Abdul, Jaywon and Benita Okojie.

A veteran broadcaster with experience spanning Inspiration FM, Naija FM, UNILAG Radio and Rhythm FM under the Silverbird Group, she recently completed a 15-year tenure at Naija FM before joining Inspiration FM.

Beyond her media career, Temi-T is widely recognised for her advocacy for children and family development. A mother of four, including a set of triplets, she has consistently used her platform to create safe and inspiring spaces for children through entertainment.
