Popular Nigerian music star, Bukola Elemide professionally known as Asa, has announced her mother’s passage.

Asa announced her mother’s death on Tuesday in an Instagram post.

While describing the deceased as her biggest fan, the singer revealed that she died from a brain tumor.

“A sudden brain tumor came without warning and took you too soon. You were generous. The kindest soul”, she wrote.

Reacting to the news, many celebrities including Singer Johnny Drille, Tiwa Savage, Prospa Ochimana, and Enioluwa among others flooded her comment section with condolence messages.
