View Tottenham transfer targets
Tottenham are reportedly weighing up a January move for Antonio Rudiger as the club look to strengthen their defensive options in the next transfer window.
According to a report on October 24, the 33-year-old defender is wanted by Spurs for a mid-season deal, with Tottenham seeking reinforcements at the back. Rudiger is also believed to be open to returning to England, where he previously had a spell with Chelsea.
The possible transfer would give Tottenham a chance to add a proven senior centre-back during a period in which defensive depth is understood to be a priority. A January approach could appeal if Spurs decide they need an immediate addition rather than waiting until the end of the campaign.
Rudiger’s willingness to consider a second spell in England may be important as Tottenham assess whether a deal can be progressed. No fee, contract length or final agreement has been reported, so any move remains at an early stage for now.
Spurs are expected to review their defensive targets before the window opens, and Rudiger’s situation appears to have placed him on their radar. The coming weeks could determine whether Tottenham turn their interest into a formal bid.
For now, the link points to a potential January storyline rather than a completed move, but Rudiger’s profile and reported openness to an English return make him a notable name to watch. Any firm development is likely to depend on Tottenham’s January plans and Rudiger’s own preference over a return to England.
