Transcorp Power Plc has announced key corporate actions following the release of its audited financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025.

The power generation company proposed a final dividend of ₦4.00 per ordinary share, subject to shareholders’ approval and applicable withholding tax.

When combined with the interim dividend of ₦1.50 per share paid on August 18, 2025, the total dividend for the 2025 financial year stands at ₦5.50 per share.

The dividend announcement aligns with the company’s recently reported 30 percent year-on-year revenue growth to ₦398.27 billion and profit after tax of ₦91.42 billion.

    Qualification and Register Closure

According to the corporate actions notice, Friday, April 17, 2026, has been fixed as the qualification date for the final dividend. Only shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members at the close of business on that date will be eligible to receive the dividend.

The Register of Shareholders will be closed from Monday, April 20, 2026, to Friday, April 24, 2026, both days inclusive.

    Dividend Payment Date

Dividend payments will be made electronically on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, to shareholders who have completed the e-dividend registration process and mandated the Registrar to credit their bank accounts directly.

Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration have been advised to do so via the NIBSS Document Management Hub or through the Registrar’s platform to ensure prompt receipt of dividends.

    Annual General Meeting Details

Transcorp Power disclosed that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) will hold on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, 1 Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja.

Shareholders are expected to consider, among other matters, the approval of the proposed final dividend for the 2025 financial year.
