Arsenal are preparing a formal approach to land Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis, according to HLN in Belgium.
The Gunners recently confirmed the departure of Leandro Trossard to Besiktas, and a replacement is expected to be signed.
Tzolis has already given the green light to join the Gunners and the club are now weighing up a formal bid for his services.
Brugge want a package of around £40m for a transfer, but Arsenal are likely to open negotiations at a lower price for him.
Tzolis is also on the radar of Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund, but the 24-year-old prefers to join the Gunners.
He has personally communicated the same to his suitors and will only consider a different route if Arsenal snub him.
Tzolis netted a staggering 22 goals alongside 29 assists for Brugge last term and has built his reputation immensely as a result.
The winger previously had a short stint at Norwich City in the Premier League where he managed just 330 minutes.
