Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall has revealed his desire to leave the Magpies amid interest from Manchester United.
The Red Devils are determined to bring in a new left-back to support Luke Shaw, and Hall has emerged as a top target for them.
Newcastle have been adamant that he won’t be heading for the exit door, but the Englishman is now eager to pursue the move.
Hall has seen Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes and Anthony Gordon depart and feels the Magpies are in another transition.
United, on the other hand, seem better placed and could compete for silverware under manager Michael Carrick soon.
The Magpies have not changed their not-for-sale stance, but things could turn a different turn if the player pushes for an exit.
Still, he is unlikely to leave on the cheap before the deadline.
Newcastle are expected to demand at least £60 million to part ways with the Chelsea graduate before the transfer window closes.
